Tháng 4 – 5, là thời điểm đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số cấy lúa trên những thửa ruộng bậc thang. Và đây cũng là mùa nở của rất nhiều loài hoa đẹp. Cảnh cấy lúa rất đẹp, cánh thợ săn ảnh thích đi vào mùa này và mùa lúa chín. - Tháng 9 – 10 là mùa lúa chín, khi ấy thì khắp mọi góc nhìn Sapa đều rực vàng. Vào khoảng thời gian này, Sapa như khoác lên mình màu áo mới – màu vàng óng trên khắp những quả đồi. Nhưng bạn nên đi vào giữa hoặc cuối tháng 9, sang tháng 10 nhiều nơi đã gặt xong.
