This popular half-day tour offers travelers the perfect overview of one of Vietnam's largest and most historic cities. Follow your friendly local guide through busy main streets and back alleys as you make your way to some of Ho Chi Minh City's top attractions. You'll learn about when the French captured Saigon some 300 years ago and see European influence in both the food and culture. This tour includes stops at iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office and War Remnants Museum, as well as other key sites.
08:00AM Pick up at your hotel. We will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s – Apr 1975s).
Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).
